Eamon, most anything by Grant Green is worth picking-up, but here are a
couple of suggestions (all on Blue Note and have been reissued at some point
of time):

IDLE MOMENTS - great, moody title track with some top players (Joe
Henderson, Bobbie Hutcherson) - nary an organ in sight!

FEELIN' THE SPIRIT - some nice adaptations of spirituals, once again top
players (Herbie Hancock), no organs...

GRANTSTAND - OK, I caved...this one DOES feature an organ! No less than
Brother Jack McDuff though with Yusef Lateef on sax. This one is very
straight-ahead jazz and less "funky" than a lot of his other records. That
said, Grant Green always manages to get good and greasy, no matter what he
is playing...

Cheers all,
