Hammond - Beasties?

Comminuting in today with an old colleague I heard the oddest thing: he had a pirated CD of Beastie Boys B-sides. To my surprise it was mostly Hammond, 60's jazzy MUSIC! I feel dirty for liking it, but they are incredibly versatile as a band.   Anyone else hear this stuff?   T
