The Modesty Blaise series of books by Peter O'Donnell is also available everywhere.
For those not in the know, Modesty Blaise was a fab spy who could
change costumes as quickly as re-applying her lipstick. Played by Monica
Vitti in the 1966 film (OK, so its not an Italian film, but it was the Italian
actress' first
English-speaking role and that counts for something), and supported by Terence
Stamp and Dirk Bogarde.
