But how can "mod" be dated? The whole concept of "mod" is modern. Just
because there is an overwhelming allegiance to styles of the 60's that
doesn't mean that the scene is reliant solely on the past...I plan on
picking up one of the new Vespas, no matter how much shit I get from
everyone else. Also, if you look at current fashion, you'll see that mods
are not followers of a 60's trend, but instead are remnants of a fashion and
cultural movement that has still not been fully developed. And PS -- I'm not
fucking gay!
