It's a cross between a naval captains hat and a railway engine drivers hat,
with a bit of a postman's hat thrown in.
You can buy them from Emporium in Greenwich for about �15.
Never heard them called Beatles hats before but John Lennon and George wore
them often...

Maybe Katrina refers to the hat worn by Max the Blue Meanie and I'm
completely wrong.
