An associate of mine is researching a magaine piece on sixties
enthusiasts and specifically the art of record collecting... in this case a
guide to beat, soul, and garage sounds and where to find them in Boston. Her
editor has asked her to get a wider range of sources and quotations than
from those in her immediate surroundings, however.So...
If any of you have the time and generosity to do so, we're looking for a
few good quotes. If you'd like to help out, drop me a brief email saying
whatever you want about when, why, where(in general, not city-specific), and
how you go about finding your sounds. The farther from Boston the quotes
come from, the better, and we would appreciate even a one-phrase message. As
a member of this list and an obsessive myself, I've been watching it for
some time and know that quite a few of you know what you are doing and what
