Only the present exists, the past is over as soon as it has begun, and the 
future has yet to happen.
Mod isn't about glorifying the past, anyway.
Having spoken to people who lived then, it sounded very austere - no central 
heating, a MacMillan government with all that fake traditional value 
rhetoric, need I go on...
Mod is more of a esthetic/classicist movement, nostalgia in the 60's was 
ballroon dancing.
