Just some stuff that might interest one or two of you after my trawl round our Capital
today....
- "A Fortnight Of Furore" is out now priced at 9.99. Its the story of the infamous
Who/SF/Paul Jones tour of Oz and NZ in 1968. Put together by Andrew Neill (readers of
Whapping Wharf Launderette should recognise him), from leafing through it on the train
it looks really good (some smashing pix).
- Mercs new long/short sleeve shirt range are much improved.....alright, some of you
may not like the place but for these price these are really good (especially the
gingham patterns)......and the bowlng shoes are put together much better than I
imagined after reading recent postings.
- Shellys on Carnaby Street are selling those funny looking Lambretta pseudo-suede
shoes for only a tenner.
With regards recent Modslist activity and everyone leaving, I seem to remember this
happening more than once over the last 3 years or so....everyone eventually comes
crawling back - even Paul Secular's made it!
David.
PS. If Julian Lawton tells you his utility room is neat and tidy, just watch his nose
grow! Only kidding, ta for the capuccino :-)
