Aint it great getting emails from someone you never heard of, who's got Small Faces interviews? I just got an email from someone (Dave McNarie) somewhere in the States who was talking to Ian Mclagan last week :- "I talked to Mac for a couple hours on Friday and he said it went really well. He's trying to work out a schedule with Billy Bragg to be able to tour with the Blokes and the Bump Band concurrently, so you may see him in the UK again soon. Bragg's working on material- there may be another Wilco collaboration (Guthrie material) on the way and, if so, a tour featuring Billy Bragg, the Blokes, and Wilco in different configurations. Mac's got a very busy life!" Any rock fans amongst you may have found his site via The Stones, but I just enjoyed reading his Plonk interviews here:- http://www.crosswinds.net/~faces/1LaneMain.htm, interesting stuff about the lads not being "real" mods initially because they didnt have 15 suits, and the Mod vibe waning in 1966. There's also a good Woody discography :- http://www.crosswinds.net/~faces/woody.htm Get's my vote for site of the day, although I do like the way Mr Walker's current effort is shaping up.
