>Have you forgotten "The Key"???
>If they were not a "Christian Mod band" I don't know what to call them.

And what about that fantastic beat combo "The Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ
(Who Died For all Our Sins)" - who can forget their power-pop (e) stylings?
Surely the fire of faith ran through their three-chord exuberance.

Blimey the things you can do to customize a youth movement to your own ends.
"Christian mod bands" I ask you. I know this was the 80's and therefore
above reasonable reproach but really.

Has anyone else on the list managed to combine their modernist leanings with
their Scientologist beliefs? I really don't think they're mutually exclusive
you know. After all, us Hubbardites get natty v-neck jumpers and nice
sensible trousers. As a scientologist youth I was pleased to find a youth
culture that left room for my deeply felt belief system and funny shoes.

I'm clear!
