Well, in the sense that it was nearly always great fun and featured a mixed,
open minded crowd enjoying a wide range of music - which included a great
soul room, I suppose *you* wouldn't consider it a strictly mod club, no.
But don't restrain yourself from commenting upon it without having actually
experienced it. I welcome your insight into such matters.
Went downhill quickly when they took the doors off the toilets, I recall. I
also seem to remember that swimming pool place being a little...erm...seedy
in the pool area. Watersports and that. The only liquid at old venue was the
sweat running down the walls.
