yeah reminds me of a quote i read from one of the guys from the
"firm" saying that mod was all about "Jean Paul-Sarte, John-Lee Hooker and
Amphetamines!"
        i still think the whole mod=modernism (in a trendy-late1990's
context) is taken a bit too seriously....the equation i mean, seems to miss
alot of the point....
~mind you these days there's not much point (sadly) in rebelling
'gainst "mainstream culture, since said culture is now scurrying to co-opt
ans absorb all aspects of various subcultures,(mod most notably-like punk
before it) albeit with shallow superficial imitations at best...
        classic argument fodder though.....!

Yeah, the club-art in the blow-up movie wasn't op-art at
all.....just those almost grotesque cartoons....in harsh black and
white....kinda voodoo weren't they?

        ps...they're reissuing kaleidoscope?
~hmmn reminds me, spring is approaching, the awakening sun heralding
the first blossoming of precious petals....rare blooms of a most equisite
kind...sonically speaking,most conquering and satisfactory! a sequelle!..Ou
est le docteur Pied d'OR?..keep your eyes peeled here and elsewhere for
details! kaleidoscopic visions await all ye who dare!
