>a nice little night at where ever we were, it would have been nice
to stay
        >longer and to have been able to actually drink alcohol! It was
also
        >interesting to see the RCA play live, but the most interesting bit
was
        >seeing Christain over intoxicated and giggling non-stop at thin
air!

Not a bad venue, though I'm intrigued to see how the Hideaway will work down
there.... A bit small..
But, what a great night, made even better by the attendance of everyone
who is anyone, or mostly so, some top R'n'B, soul, beat and even Gloria Lynn
-Tower Of Strength.......

        >How are the million and one records you bought Matt?

Fabulous! Paul (Guitar Red) Johnson shall be gracing the decks of
Scarborough in the day time along with a record I hope to have hold of by
then, off Gav Needham, if he can only agree on a bloody price!
Perhaps someone can tell me how much Vernon Green and the Medallions -
A Lovers Prayer (Dootone) is worth? I know it must be a lot, but since it's
the BEST record I've heard in a long time AND I've got first refusal on it I
am willing to fork out for it. I think this record is the ULTIMATE Hideaway
sound. I hope nobody's heard it. Paul, can you help me out here? Amazing
early R'n'B.

        > Cheers for the winegums, it's the nearest to alcohol i got! Not
a bad >night all in all!

No worries,
     Bye Bye,
           Matt.....
