Wow, all quite good guesses but not close yet.
I liked the Milli Vanilli one, he, he.....
Here is the clue for today:
The band the guy was in is from the USA and they were really popular with
the American teenagers from the mid to late '60s and were on US TV quite
regularly.
This is fun !
