Did anyone catch the Status Quo documentary tonight? Nice snippets of the band in
their late-60's mod/psych get-up on Top Of The Pops, Beat Club, etc. Funny to hear
Rick Parfitt take the piss out of those clothes seeing as though he's been in washed
denim ever since. It was also nice to see The Style Council interupt Janice Long's
interview with a very pissed Parfitt and Rossi at Live Aid - well done Paul. Can't
knock them though as I love their first album/early singles, and their previous output
as The Spectres and Traffic Jam.
Hope all those that went to Scarboro' had (are having) a good time - you probably had
a better time than I did at Carlisle watching the mighty Darlo get further and further
away from automatic prmotion from Division 3, but thats for another mailing list.
