Is Paul Secular really a joke? He writes.

        > but then I don't know
        >anything about soul DJs I'm afraid Matt-y boy....

That's fine, but then to assert,

        >Yes I've seen it and wasn't struck particularly -

Anyone with a vauge notion of talent and modernist soul spinning
would know that this is a blinding set up. If you don't appear to know what
you're on about then fine, admit it. But don't say you aren't struck on
them, cos you don't know anything about them. Which shouldn't be a failing,
yet you manage to make it one! Which line up would impress you? Guy Stevens.
All night? 'Cos to be fair, there are better records around now than when
the Scene was breaking stuff in the early 60's.

        >However I WOULD like to meet Nina who was (is?) on modslist and
once
        >sent me a great tape........

Yes, she has some great stuff. So exactly what part of the line up were you
not going to enjoy? And Banksy is one of the best, if not THE best R'n'B DJ
around at the moment.....Expect to hear Peppermint Harris, Bruce McCloud,
Millie Foster and Rudy Lambert.......can't wait.

        >... I'd still say on average I spend 60% of the time in the Beat
        >Basement though........

Didn't we have this discussion a long time ago about the fact that you never
went downstairs because you thought they were hippies?!
I can never figure you out. And that annoys me.
                     Matt.....
