Grow a "bum fluff" moustache starting approx 2 weeks before the event. It fools all bouncers, you look old enough to get in. Simple but brilliant. 2. Rehearse your date of birth starting now - remember it must be one that JUST turns you 18. If challenged, either say you`ve forgot your id (or look in your pockets and swear you`ve lost it) or borrow/steal something without a photo belonging to an 18 year old. 3. Don`t smell of cider, or be stupidly drunk. But get an alcopop or 2 down you to give you a bit of Dutch courage. 4. Tell people you`ve travelled MILES to get here, they`ll feel sorry for you and let you in. 5. Talk loudly outside abut what a hoot your 18th birthday was, and how great life at University is. 6. Don`t pay - get someone obviously older to say "2 please". 7. Get in with a girl, they never turn women away. If you are a girl, don`t worry, your in ! And forget point 1.
