There's nothing wrong with liking the Monkees, David. In fact, according to
Lester Bangs, it's been ok to like them since at least '71.
But yeah, an 84 track version of HQ does seem a bit odd...then again, I
couldn't for the life of me figure out who would want to buy the Pet Sounds
box set, and it just seemed to fly off the shelves. I suppose that alternate
versions and demos have never particularly interested me...
