The Metro The Annexe Le Scandale (and usually The Wag) are all sleazy
cess-pits...
I can't believe someone could waste their time in London by attending
these 'clubs'!
The New Untouchables run the best nights in London -
though I'm not saying even the NU clubs are perfect...
As a rule of thumb avoid any club for which you've been handed a flier
on the street!
On the subject of the Monarch... I attended Casino Royale (supposedly
the better of the 2 Saturday nights) on free invitation - after 15
minutes I'd left.
Seems I was right in avoiding the Camden 'scene'!
I can now say *from experience* that both the Monarch and HQs are
complete and utter shit-holes! The night life in Camden should be
avoided at all costs.
Personally I prefer the 'Nothin' But The Blues' bar, Gaz's Rockin' Blues
(now on Thursdays AND Mondays), Lava Lamp on alternate Wednesdays
(currently in danger of being cancelled) and Electric Orange on
alternate Mondays. Lordy Lord's been pretty good of late too...
As for 'Big Ben' - please tell me this is a joke! Someone'll be
suggesting Elizabeth watch the 'Changing of the Guard' next!!
Give me centre Point tower any day (or night)...
