Ben,
Although many on the list would probably disagree (since the Merc is only a 
"Skinhead store where dorky revivalists shop"), they from time to time offer 
some pretty decent 60's patterned suits. Tonics, solids, sometimes 
houndstooth and off beat fabrics, but usually only a small selection so you 
lose as far as originality is concerned. It's worth a shot though....just 
research what they've got, and make sure the fabric quality is up to par (as 
often it is cheap....hence very affordable).
