rejecting advise to stay away from merc and the face and carnaby street
in general, i visited there a couple weekends ago. paul secular offered
some great advice on better clothing establishments but alas, i was only
in london for a day and didn't have time to explore further...
i must say that it was well worth it if just to see the most convincing
liam gallagher lookalike i've ever seen in my life working at merc. we
saw him again coincidentally that evening at a pub and rocking to ...
well who else but oasis blaring from the jukebox. it was quite a scene
to see this liam wannabe singing along to 'champagne supernova'... i
mean this guy had it down to a tee. the look, the walk, the attitude,
the demeanor, everything! you could tell he's worked long and hard on
adopting liam's persona for his own. sad really... in fact, people in
the pub were doing doubletakes, "is that... liam...??"
you've heard it here on the modslist first folks -- liam's been sacked
from oasis and now works at merc. ha ha ha ha!!! for anyone who hasn't
witnessed this in person, i highly recommend a visit .
