He is god because the charachters he plays in his movies always seem to
mirror the particular ideas I am exploring in my life at the time. When
wayne's world came out, I was totally getting into that scene, and I also
happen to live just a stones throw from Aurora, Illinois. I had decided to
become a beatnik and OD on coffee at the local coffee house about the time I
married an axe murderer came out. Austin Powers picked up on a sixties
secret agent undercurrent that had followed me my whole life. about a year
before the movie came out, the seventies were popular in fasion and I was
following that much more righteously then anyone I knew. IE, accumulating
authentic seventies cloths, getting my hair cut in the punx (sp?) style,
studying the art of disco dancing many hours a night, etc. I love Germany,
I speak the language (badly), follow their philosophers, watch their movies,
etc. I was heartbroken when Mike decided not to release Sprockets as a
filme. Cheque out my german web page if you like (I had shorter hair when I
made it) http://hutter.notrix.de . I am also a sort of amature comic actor,
so I much admire his work from that end.

Good enuf?

          -Tom
