Because they believe it is cool, and this is something that has been advanced throughout the history of popular music and modern cinema. And still is! Kids don`t start smoking because they want part of their lung removed or because they enjoy coughing up flegm in a morning, it`s because they believe it makes them look adult/cool. As you get older you are addicted, and you have to make the decision as to whether to carry on smoking regardless of the consequences, or give up. The cool aspect obviously doesn`t play a big part. But it certainly does in a number of people`s formative years. And with regard to Paul Secular, well, despite my comments, I have to say he is actually a very nice, very helpful bloke, who has assisted with content for my site, and is indeed credited on it.
