I prefer the Yardbirds. Zeppelin got too hippie for
my liking. Plus, I HATE Robert Plant.

Pavement was a decent band. Nothing I'd ever buy a
record from, but a good listen here and there.
Everyone has been telling me good things about the new
Malkmus record. I might check it out.

Yes, and no. Musically, people will try best to sound
60s, but, as in all revivals, the clothes will only
matter to the public. Watch MTV for a few hours [if
you can stand it], and look at John Norris. He's
trying to be mod, and ended up looking Pee-Wee Herman.
I think the only time 60s music is properly done is
when some group like Mono or Massive Attack uses it's
elements. These days, musicians in the mainstream
don't have the capacity to grasp the quality of 60s
garage, soul, or r&b.
