It was also a film (getting back to the Mod thing!) in the 60s starring
Hywel Bennett as the man with the first artificial penis transplant. Amazing
to think how technology has moved on. They can now transplant them onto
shoulders, as this list often shows. Anyway, man gets penis transplant
("Percy" referring to his "old fella") and sets off to find out who it used
to belong to. Soundtrack is by The Kinks, just reissued on vinyl if I`m not
mistaken. Pretty average tunes, but a nice instrumental version of "Lola" on
it.
I, like Misa, rarely read this thing anymore, but was "tipped off" that
discussion had livened up. The usual stuff, but entertaining. And at least
on Modslist you can express your opinion freely. on other "Mod" mailing
lists (remain nameless) opinions that do not follow the "approved" line are
not tolerated so easily. Which defeats the object of a debating forum
really?
But I digress.......
