Haha, a lesson I learned (learnt? c'mon spelling police) the hard way.
I too once had a disastrous experience with a shite hairdresser.  She really hacked at 
my hair -
the end product being a completely awful and totally unflattering short crop - one of 
my main
reasons for wearing a wig when I did!  To cover the mess while it grew back to an 
acceptable
length!  To say I was mortified is an understatement!  I've decided now that having it 
long suits
me better!
