I saw TOTP 2 as well - brings back memories of my childhood being really scared of John Lydon. I was forced by my Mother to dress as a "Flower" for the Silver Jubilee celebration party in our town whilst all these boys were dressed up as Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten...I felt a right prat. I've got the S*x Pistols first television appearance ( With Glen Matlock ) - filmed in some hall in Manchester ( I think )and they look so young and fresh and way ahead of their time in terms of their dress and the original punk look ( A far cry from Mohicans ! ). Jordan or Sue Catwoman or some bird with a peroxide beehive is throwing chairs onto the stage...ooh dangerous stuff ! Anyway - the 1996 version was....interesting although I think John's hair looked like he covered it in blue tack ! X.Ray specs Poly Styrene is apparently into Buddhism now and gone all mellow ( Without the braces I hasten to add ! ).
