I worked for a co for 6 yrs that sold telescopes, and this question came by 
us every now and then...

This is one of the major arguments of proponents of the hoax theory: There 
are no stars in the backgrounds of photos taken from the lunar surface. They 
say that since you see no stars in the background, then these obviously must 
be faked shots... What they missed: Stars are relatively dim, so for them to 
show up on a negative, an exposure must be at least 1 minute. The photos 
taken from the Apollo are snapshots, exposure time considerably less than 1 
second. Hence, no stars in the background.

It would seem to me that if you were doing serious research on this subject, 
this would be a pretty simple fact to come across. So, if they missed 
something as simple as this, how throrough could the rest of their evidence 
be?
