Sadly, I just read the news of the death of Kim Gardner, bassist for the Birds and the Creation, as he succumbed to a bought with cancer. If Mike and Anja are out there, please send information to this list! I am spinning at a party this evening and plan on throwing in a heavy dose of Kim's music from both the Birds and the Creation as well as the Santa Barbera Machine Head, which he was also involved with, in his honor.
