We will be having a benefit for the DC Chapter of the American Red Cross on
Tuesday, November 20th at Club Heaven. The event is called Kickstart-
KickStart will be an evening of 60s Sounds, featuring Motown/Stax, Wall of
Sound, Now Sound, Nothern Soul, Psych-Pop and just plain Pop. Focus will be
on some of the lesser known tracks from that decade. To further the mood, an
episode of The Avengers will be screened at 10 PM. Doors at 9. Club Heaven is
at 2327 18th St, NW Adams Morgan. There is a $5 donation for entrance, 100%
of which will go to the Red Cross. The money will support their relief
efforts, examples of which are the Pentagon disaster and the tornado in
College Park. Unfortunately, because of ABC rules and regulations it is a 21+
