Subject: Looking for Japanese jazzbos

I have been invited to participate in a Japanese book launch for
an anthology that will reprint two of my writings about Gene Vincent
and Jack Kerouac respectively (orginally printed in my RALPH zine #52).

As it's expensive to travel, I'm going solo and hope to find a cool trio
or quartet to put together a short set of jazz/r&bish/mod sounds. I am
a vocalist. I can provide charts for some material plus CDs to listen to.
It's pretty straight-forward stuff with lots of room for personal touches.

We're looking at end of May time-period. I'm waiting for more details myself.
We're talking Tokyo. Minimal money.
Soundwise, it's kind of Mose Allison/Jack Kerouac/Rod McKuen/Georgie
Fame/Bill Frissell - chilled vibes but potential for rocking 60s style
if the crowd is into it - I have no idea what to expect there.

If you have a band or have a connection, please let me know off-list.

More info about me & sound samples at: Http://www.bongobeat.com

Thank you.

Steven,

You have a very high opinion of your self if you think I'm out to get
you....perhaps you're paranoid ?!
I was merely replying to the other note sent by someone else. Perhaps in
the future you should think carefully about what write in your postings if
you don't want me to misinterpret them.....as far as I'm concerned the
"Words" you chose were insulting.....not that I care about it now...enough
said.....I think this subject should
be put to bed before you suffer a mental breakdown.

And, if you want me to leave you alone...then STOP sending me personal
e-mails telling me about how sick and
ill you've been !

Subject closed.
