Hello: I am running, succesfully (after two mindbendingly horrible weeks (newbie to Linux, Perl, and SSL...) a mod-ssl enabled Apache server. I have two domains, one which houses the original site (www.santatv.com, if anyone wants to take a look), and am nearing the end of the process of setting up a second (commercial and broadcast) site which will hopefully be phenomenally sucessful over the next five weeks...) Problem: How to "sell" a site certificate to my ancillary, commerical site whxih has a separate domain/DNS/IP registration.I made my own site & server certs--saw no reason to enhance Dun & Bradstreet's revenue without good cause-- (Too many Netscape caution messages in its present state. I have searched the avaiable documentation to no effect. Setup details: The server is on a server farm: I run the only active sites on it, but there are three other sites in varying stages opf development. Only one of my sites is ssl-enabled. The machine is Red Hat 5.1, Linux kernel 2.0.34 on an i586, the server is Apache 1.3.3/mod_ssl/mod_perl. Any suggestions appreciated. *************** mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] John Baskind *************** ______________________________________________________________________ Apache Interface to SSLeay (mod_ssl) www.engelschall.com/sw/mod_ssl/ Official Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
