I believe I have properly compiled and installed apache with mod_ssl.

The server starts properly once I make the appropriate config
changes, and non-ssl http connections on port 80 work fine. I am
able to receive the correct data, etc. SSL connections do not seem
to be working properly. I get the error message:

[Thu Dec 24 20:00:33 1998] [error] mod_ssl: Unable to configure server private
k
ey for connection (SSLeay library error follows)

The promise of a library error that follows does not seem to be fulfilled
as I cannot locate where the error has been sent.

The certificate I am using worked fine under Apache-SSL, and I wanted
to move to mod_ssl for the many reasons stated in the FAQ. I was not
able to find any information about this error on the web pages, and
only a single entry without resolution in the bug database.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

(PS - a suggestion... put htdig or some kind of keyword search engine
to go through your site... that way, one won't have to manually
search so much, something that is espeically frustrating when it
does not turn up any results.)
