WARNING! IANAL!
Not until Sept. 20, 2000, the point at which the RSA patent expires. US
citizens and corporations must obtain a patent license from RSA to use
software which implements the RSA algorithms until then. Those outside the
USA do not because US patent laws do not apply outside the USA. RSA's
licensing terms are not very amenable to individuals who wish to *use*
BSAFE, but are to corporations who wish to *sell* BSAFE. What RedHat would
be out of is the secure server *maintaince* business. Now that's a *nice*
business model. Even if temporary.
