Hi all,
I tried to run Apache 1.3.6, mod_ssl 2.3.11, OpenSSL 0.93a on a Solaris
x86 2.6. It didn't work and I am going nuts.
After compiling and installing Apache SSL, I tried to connect to
HTTPS port but got bounced back immediately. The error entries in
access_log and error_log are respectively :
203.67.11.65 - - [10/Aug/1999:13:15:48 +0800] "\200k^A^C^A" 501 -
and
Aug 10 13:15:48 1999] [error] [client 203.67.11.65] Invalid method in reque
st \200k^A^C^A
I followed the debug instruction in FAQ and got the following result
from OpenSSL:
OpenSSL> s_client -connect chi.e-top.com.tw:443 -state -debug

This is very very strange to me. I had no idea why this happened. I used
Apache/SSL + SSLeay several years ago. I never had any similar problems before.
I had removed the -O3 flag and turned off ASM code when comping OpenSSL. make test
looked quite normal to me (all passed).
Is there anyone having similar experience ? I hope someone kind enough to
give me some clues. I am going crazy.
Thanks for your attention.
