I'm fairly new to this list, but maybe someone can solve this problem.
I've compiled Apache using the Irix C compiler with EAPI support.
Then I compiled and installed OpenSSL 0.9.4 which seems to work without
a problem.
After compiling ModSSL 2.4.8 using apxs (which doesn't seem to give a
problem) I installed the libssl.so module and included the nessercery
lines in httpd.conf.
Restarting Apache without -DSSL works without a problem, but including
this comandline switch dumps a core without any message or warning. The
last line in the ssl_engine.log states something like "Initializing
OpenSSL" and there is no message in the error_log, and no message in the
syslog.
I haven't done a backtrace yet bacause I need to find out how the Irix
debugger works, but there may be someone who has found the problem
already.
