sorry if the question i am asking has been discussed here before:
solaris7+libpcap, apache12, latest openSSL compiled with gcc just fine.
i can not make certificate or start httpsd. what i found out is
$openSSL/crypto/rand/md_rand.c contains RAND_screen (just at the bottom of
the code). and "takes the contents of the screen as a random seed".
i don't have a "screen" on my web server, meaning most of the variables
called by RAND_screen are irrelevant in my case. i don't even have a
framebuffer physically present. can someone refer me to the appropriate code,
that would work on "screenless" machines. i am not good in programming, even
though it looks like a trivial task for the c-programmer it seems to be a big
problem for me.
