Mod_SSL comes with very good instructions, including a section near the
end of the INSTALL file that covers Apache + mod_ssl + mod_perl, or
Apache + mod_ssl + php3 + MySQL.
Go to www.modssl.org, download the latest mod_ssl that works with your
version of Apache, untar it, and read the INSTALL file. I think you
will find everything you need there.
If you still have questions after reading the INSTALL file and the
documentation on the www.modssl.org web site, come back to this list for
more help. I found it amazingly easy.
I've heard on the php mailing list that many people have problems with
a DSO installation of PHP + mod_ssl. There have been some recent success
stories using DSO, or you can compile a static web server and skip over
the DSO problems.
