Hi mod_ssl users,
I compiled Apache 1.3.12/mod_ssl 2.6.3/mod_perl 1.22/OpenSSL 0.9.4. It
went just fine and now I can access the server with https.
Now I wanted to make the Intranet Server more secure and therefore the
standard server has now SSL enabled. Because I do not want to
reconfigure all the clients I created a virtual host _default_:80 with
SSL disabled. Then I set in this virtual host "Redirect permanent /
https://intranet.niemueller.de". So if I now go to
http://intranet.niemueller.de it redirects me correctly
https://intranet.niemueller.de/. But when I now try
https://intranet.niemueller.de/anydir or
http://intranet.niemueller.de/anydir it always tries to forward me to
intranet.niemueller.de:80/anydir/! Although if I called the dir with
https! The dir exists and normally he tries to forward me to the dir
with the slash at the end. I never get an answer and the request times
out. I do not get any messages in the error_log.
Any hints how I can solve this problem so that he redirects incomplete
directory request correctly?
Tim
