To figure out what makes your apache segfault - see

This sounds _very_ much like a php issue - www.php.net is the place
to go for that.

I've had it up and running on slightly older versions - but as I
wrote above, unless the segfault is in something specifically
related to mod_ssl, then you should be looking to php to fix the
problem.
