Certainly sounds like you have a good handle on it all. Can't think of
anything right off, you probably aren't even getting any error messages
in any of the log files, from the sounds of things. Very peculiar. You
need to verify that both parts of the jserv are running. There is a
directive in one of the jserv config files that puts the java part into
manual mode. I discovered this when looking through the jserv FAQ's
about debugging servlets. I will look it up for you if you need me to.
The only other thing - which is pretty remote - is that maybe your
apache "forgot" how to deal with java or jar files. That is something
that is dealt with in the mime.types file. Pretty remote - as I say -
but I have run into this kind of thing before.
