mod_ssl 2.1.8 for Apache 1.3.4? Errr.. please do yourself a favor and forget
this ancient version. Instead use mod_ssl 2.6.6 for Apache 1.3.12, please.
And then follow the INSTALL document in the mod_ssl distribution for details.
