I detect a certain amount of talking at crossed-purposes. Perhaps we
could clear up in case any reader is getting confused:
IPv6 "solves the problem" by expanding IP namespace so much that
everyone can have as as many IP addresses as they like (...well,
almost).
You can then cheerfully assign a different IP address to all your hosts
(SSL or not) and so you don't need to bother about Name-based Virtual
Hosting at all.
So the problem of the inherent incompatibility of NBVH and SSL never
arises.
