I am running Apache 1.3.12/mod_ssl2.6.6/openssl0.96 under Solaris. On the
server runs small PHP4 script that get an encrypted filename as parameter. The
script decrypts the filename, determines its mime type. Then it reads the file,
sets the content-type|length and send outs the file. When I use MSIE I have the
following the problem: the script works perfect when I call the script through
a link inside a HTML page. When I enter the same URL manually into MSIE into
the location field MSIE opens the save requester or show the file as text/html,
sometimes it starts correctly the corresponding application. This reproduceable
with several MSIE installation (version 5.5). All other browsers (Netscape,
Opera) work perfectly.
Also tried to change SSLProtocol/CipherSuite according to
the mod_ssl FAQ but without success (disabled SSLv3/TSL).
Any idea what the real problem is ?
Thanks in advance,
Andreas Jung
