Question about compiling mod_ssl

I've finnaly run apache with mod_ssl, but I cannot connect to my
server by https (http runs) - and i'm starting apache with
./apachectl startssl.

I.ve set certificate .crt and .key file.
Any clues what shall I set too to have it run?
