Hi
I have problems installing verisign digital ID. I have flollowed
strictly your instructions at
http://www.verisign.com/support/csr/apache/v00.html.
bellow is script used to generate these flies (openssl.maverick
configuration file is attached to this mail):

and i have sent to CA secure.maverick2000.csr file.
I get file cert.cer from email and replplaced file
/etc/httpd/ssl.crt/secure.maverick.crt with cert.cer. The directive
SSLCertificateFile /etc/httpd/conf/ssl.crt/secure.maverick2000.crt now
points to cert.cer file
/etc/httpd/ssl.key/secure.maverick.key remains unchanged and
appropriate line form httpd.conf is
SSLCertificateKeyFile /etc/httpd/conf/ssl.key/secure.maverick2000.key
when I restart apache I get error message in log

(secure.maverick2000.net:443) Unable to configure RSA server private key
(OpenSSL library error follows)

certificate routines:X509_check_private_key:key values mismatch
and when i use the following commands:
penssl x509 -noout -modulus -in secure.maverick.crt | openssl md5
openssl rsa -noout -modulus -in ../ssl.key/secure.maverick2000.key |
openssl md5
they prints different md5 sums
