Never mind dropping javascript, why not drop frames instead? There are other
ways to get the same effect as frames that do not throw up all the problems
associated with frames. Frames cause problems with SSL, search pages and
accessibility software to name a few.
IMHO frames were the worst things ever inflicted on the Internet (apart from
IE that is).
