We are using the Sun crypto boards with openssl 0.96a. I just did the speed
test and got similar results to yours. I think there must be something
wrong with the tests. We aren't using them to speed up SSL so much as to
off load the CPU, since it was running at 100% utilization. We don't need
them to be blazingly fast, but I think we would notice an order of magnitude
slowdown.
