Especially as most of the changes between 1.3.20 and > 1.3.22 are for Windows anyway. I hadn't even considered that. I've never tried installing the Apache RPM and attempted to install DSOs after-the-fact. Also I prefer to have apache in /usr/local/apache instead of /home/http or whatever the RPM puts it in. Have you compiled in DSOs (like PHP) -- or upgraded DSOs like mod_ssl after installing the RPM? I don't see why this *wouldn't* work. I just haven't tried it. I suppose as long as apxs is installed as part of the RPM and Apache was originally configured to allow DSOs it would work. > Incidentally, did you install the openssl-devel RPM package? Without that > you can't compile Apache-mod_ssl. Yeah, I have. See the "segfault problem" and "segfault problem - from scratch" threads for more info on my newest problems. Thanks.
