I serendipitiously encountered Mail::Sieve on a CPAN search. So I
thought I'd take a look. Except that it's not there.
It appears as a registered module, but the author appears to have pulled
it (I haven't checked backpan, as I'm not that interested).

According to backpan, this module has never seen the light of day.

This is quite common, much more than we would like it to happen.
Should the distribution be removed from the module list? Since it
doesn't really exist any more. Either that, or search.cpan.org should
ignore registered modules for which there is no published module.
I think registering modules for the ones who care is important. And
there could be an understandable delay between the registration and
the first release. But it is just too bad if the registration is all
that is done after six months or one year . Maybe the CPAN admins may
rule something on this.
